What is the Swordsman Challenge?

Swordsman Challenge is a Bible memory program specifically developed for Kindergarten through 6th graders. During this 3-year program your child will learn many portions of scripture that will help shape their faith and ultimately encourage them to surrender their lives to Christ.

We have selected key Bible passages that focus on God’s love, salvation, prayer, obedience and praise. It is our hope that you and your child can work together as a family to memorize scripture.

We pray that we will be able to build on the foundation you are laying at home. As your child memorizes God’s Word, he/she will be able to live out 2 Timothy 2:15 (ESV), “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

It is our earnest desire that you participate with us by encouraging your child to learn the scriptures and that God may richly bless your family as you study together.

15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
